Guidelines and resources for storing, charging and safely using motorized personal transportation at 91影视破解版.
91影视破解版 students, faculty, staff and visitors using e-scooters, e-bikes, hoverboards, skateboards, one wheels and other motorized personal transportation on 91影视破解版鈥檚 campus must abide by state traffic laws and 91影视破解版's mechanical conveyance policy. The policy outlines how e-scooter and e-bike drivers must register, safely store, charge, and ride their devices to protect the campus community.
Ride Safely
Under Maryland law, drivers of e-scooters and e-bikes must adhere to traffic laws, including obeying traffic signals and signs, riding in the direction of traffic and yielding to other vehicles and pedestrians.

- yield to pedestrians
- store in outdoor racks
Things NOT to Do
- bring inside 91影视破解版 buildings
- carry passengers (unless in designated passenger seats)
- use headphones while operating
Storage and Charging
To protect against building fires, e-Scooters, e-Bikes, and all other motorized personal transportation at 91影视破解版 must be stored and charged in outdoor racks. Bike racks and bike repair stations are located throughout campus and can accommodate scooters. There are also dedicated scooter and board racks offering storage and/or charging in the locations listed below. Riders must provide their own locks and chargers.

Storing Safety
Prevent scooter theft by using a lock whenever your scooter is unattended. 91影视破解版 recommends using cuff-style locks over cable versions since they cannot be shimmied over the handlebars. Register your scooter with the 91影视破解版PD so that it can be returned to you if it鈥檚 lost, stolen, or misplaced.
Protect against building fires
Keep e-Scooters Outside
To protect against building fires, e-scooters, e-bikes and other motorized transportation may not be brought inside 91影视破解版 buildings. Wheelchairs and other mobility aids are allowed.
Enforcement
The 91影视破解版 Police Department is responsible for enforcing e-scooter and e-bike violations. Violations will be processed through the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices for students and the Office of Human Resources for faculty and staff. Resulting actions may include fines, device confiscation, termination, suspension, or expulsion, as outlined in the Code of Student Accountability. Visitors who violate the policy may be removed from campus.
