ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING SOFTWARE

What is ERP?

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems help businesses manage everything from finance and accounting to inventory, sales, human resources, and customer relationships鈥攁ll in one connected system. In this program, you'll gain hands-on experience with SAP, one of the world's leading ERP platforms used by global organizations.

The BSAP major focuses on empowering students with hands-on experience in ERP designs, configurations and applications to help IT organizations and end users and improve operational efficiency, effectiveness and security. In this program, you鈥檒l be able to define and explain ERP concepts, processes and values in an organizational environment; utilize an ERP system to manage a variety of business functions and an organization; generate business intelligence using ERP to support decision making; and help organizations drive operational and process effectiveness and efficiency. Courses include hands-on training in SAP, SAP Lumira, and Salesforce. In addition, students gain insight into process automation and learn tools like UiPath.

Earn a Double Major

If you're already planning to major in business administration, you need just a few additional courses (one additional semester) to graduate with TWO majors and earn the SAP Recognition Award.

Admission Requirements

BSAP is a screened major. Students are admitted to the major only after successfully completing a set of required courses with a C or higher in each of those courses and an overall 91影视破解版 GPA of 2.0 or higher. See all admission requirements.

Scholarships

Outstanding students majoring in BSAP who demonstrate clear career goals are eligible for the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum Scholarship in the amount of $5,000 each semester.

The requirements include being a sophomore, junior, or senior standing, being registered as a full-time student taking 12 or more credits per semester, and the completion of one full year at Towson University prior to submission. In order to apply, students must submit a scholarship application, a current resume, and a 500-word essay describing their future career goals related to gaining a position in Information Technology.
