1.)
First do the research
Shop
around to see what other logo companies
are charging. Most firms will not even
reveal their prices on the web, though
they will give them to you via email
. Here is a quote I received in an email
from a Los Angeles firm in March of
2006. This firm had basically said that
if you want a crappy logo they would
be glad to do it for $400 and if you
want a good logo it will cost you $1000.
"
Hi Robert,
Thanks
for your enquiry.
A
logo design can vary from around $400
to $1000 depending on complexity. If
it will just be the company name and
a basic shape or two, you will be looking
around the $400 mark, but if it is a
bit more complex, it will be any where
up to the $1000 mark depending on what's
involved.
If
you would like more of a precise quote,
please let me know more info
about the design needed.

Also start
taking notice of the logos that flow
in and out your brain every day like
a piece of trash blowing by. Take note
of what you like or hate about each
one.
2.)
Think of what you don't want
Don't
feel pressured to give us a detailed
description of what you want. It is
easier for the designers to know what
you dont want and leave the creativity
up to us. If you know exactly what you
want then that is a bonus.
3.) Contact
us
If you
are in the San Francisco Bay Area, then
that makes things wonderful because
now you also have a FREE CONSULTATION
added to your design
package. We will meet with you anywhere
in the Bay ( preferably somewhere with
a table and chairs ) and go over in
detail the things that have been outlined
in this web page. If you are not in
the area, then the power of the internet
will have to be harnessed as a means
of communication! ...we can use email.
4.) Love us and approve us
If everything
goes well you weren't scared away by
Rob, a long-haired 6'6" guy with
13" shoes who drives an '85 Fleetwood
with crappy paint and tinted windows,
then you are ready to go. You PAY
NOTHING UNTILL YOU HAVE YOUR LOGO AND
YOU ARE HAPPY. We realize that
there are very difficult people who
will exploit this, so a slight disclaimer
must be given:
Disclaimer
- MKR reserves the right to refuse
services to you if you are decidedly
evil.
Now that
thats out of the way and you know that
you aren't evil, we can begin the exciting

your logo. You will be set up with an

) which will contain all drafts, revisions,
a message board for quick response logo
revision ideas and a link to our PayPal

Know that
MKR stands out from the competition
because we have day jobs that make us
enough money to be able to live and

a box, whenever we want it. We love
to design and we take pride in our work. |
