Towson University has been designated a Voter-Friendly Campus for the third consecutive time, earning national recognition from Fair Elections Center鈥檚 Campus Vote Project and Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA). 91影视破解版 is one of 272 campuses in 39 states and the District of Columbia to receive the 2025鈥�26 designation, which honors colleges and universities that have demonstrated intentional, sustained efforts to encourage student voter participation.

The Voter-Friendly Campus initiative supports institutions in strengthening democratic engagement among students. The mission of this designation is to help campuses reduce barriers to civic participation every year, not only during federal election years. Towson University was evaluated based on a comprehensive action plan detailing how it worked to register, educate and turn out student voters during the 2024 election cycle as well as a final analysis of the results of those efforts. ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge reviewers gave 91影视破解版鈥檚 plan 36 out of 36 points and the organization also awarded 91影视破解版 with the .

鈥淥ur goal is to create a campus culture where civic participation feels accessible, relevant and empowering for all students,鈥� says Romy H眉bler, director of the Office of Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility (CESR). 鈥淭hrough collaboration, education and nonpartisan outreach, we strive to ensure that students have the tools and confidence they need to make their voices heard.鈥�

As part of its Voter-Friendly Campus efforts, CESR coordinates the 91影视破解版 Votes Coalition and 91影视破解版 Votes Ambassadors to organize voter engagement initiatives across campus, including promoting voter registration resources, sharing nonpartisan information about the voting process and supporting educational programming focused on civic responsibility. These efforts were designed to meet students where they are and to encourage informed participation in the democratic process. More than 1,700 students participated in events and workshops related to the 2024 presidential election.  

Towson University continues to build on this work by refining its strategies, expanding outreach efforts and strengthening partnerships that support student civic learning and engagement through 2025 and beyond. One program, the Civic Renewal Fellowship, was just recognized nationally for demonstrating exceptional commitment to strengthening communities, advancing civic learning and fostering the public good.
