I am pleased to share that the University System of Maryland (USM) provide a 1.5% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for all regular faculty and staff. I also am pleased that 91影视破解版 has elected to extend the COLA increase to additional 91影视破解版 colleagues including Contingent II employees, while also making an adjustment to our adjunct pay rates in FY27 to reflect the COLA increase.

The increase will be applied to all full-time and Contingent II 91影视破解版 faculty and staff at the start of the new fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026. For adjunct and 9-month faculty, the change will take effect at the start of the new contract period after July 1, 2026.

Please note, the Governor鈥檚 budget, as approved by the State Assembly, did not include funding for merit increases in FY27.

As I shared in my latest campus message, 91影视破解版 is financially well-positioned for the upcoming fiscal year thanks to our diligent planning and disciplined approach. There are still challenges ahead, but we remain focused on what matters most: our students, our community and our mission to serve the public good.
