Biography

Dr. Bailey is a historian who researches the intersections between innovators and material culture in 19th-century America. With a passion for learning design, she is also a scholar of pedagogy, and works to incorporate emerging technologies into her religious studies and Honors College classrooms. Her work has been published in Studies in Church History, the International Journal for the Study of New Religions, the Bulletin for the Study of Religion, Religion, Attire, and Adornment in North America (Columbia University Press), the Journal of Educational Technology Systems, and The Canadian Journal of Action Research.
