Biography
My training and research took me on a journey through Italy, Scotland, Ecuador, and the USA. In each of those countries I had the great pleasure and privilege to meet people from different backgrounds, learn about their life experience and cultures, and make long lasting friendships. These personal connections help me to appreciate the complexities of human experiences, the challenges that some communities face in their everyday life, and the resilience of their spirit in fighting to overcome them. I bring these incredible life lessons into my classes, sharing with my students what I learned.
