Biography
Ali Tyler (she/her/hers) is a native of Maryland. She is a graduate of Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick, Maryland, and University of Nevada in Reno, NV, with a BA in English. Ali then obtained a MA in Deaf Studies from Gallaudet University in DC. Ali taught several subjects in the K-12 school system in Arizona. Ali also taught ASL at Coconino Community College in Flagstaff, Arizona, University of Nevada in Reno, and University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. Ali is currently a full-time Lecturer with the Deaf Studies Program at Towson University in Towson, Maryland. For fun, Ali loves taking road trips, and exploring remote areas with her wife. Ali enjoys diamond paintings and reading.
